This is a copy of The Numbers Racket CD-ROM, which I prepared back in 1998. I am presenting it here, unedited, for historical purposes. Obviously most if not all of the information is 'out of date' today, but think of it as a snapshot of what the Spy Numbers scene was like in the late 1990s.

Six Tone Station

Six Tone Station

Another one of the mystery stations. This one repeats a short melody of six tones. This goes on for about ten minutes. On some occasions, after this is finished, some CW is sent, followed by some FSK (frequency shift keying or teletype) signals.

To date, no schedule as been determined for this station. It appears to transmit at H+00, H+20, and H+40. Some listeners have reported the station repeating transmissions on the same frequency one hour later.

The following frequencies have been reported:

8140
